Snow Time Lapse?
Well, we were supposed to get snow the other day, so I thought what a perfect time to test out my new Canon T1i doing time lapses. I charged the battery on my T1i and on my EeePC all the way in preparation for 4 hours of snow fall. I set the T1i in full auto thinking that would work nicely for any changes in lighting, and setup the EOS utility on my EeePC to capture 720 pictures at 20 second intervals. Well the snow didn’t come, and I forgot about the flash in full auto, so this turned out to be a very boring 30 second video with about 10 seconds of reflected curtains, because of the flash! Oh well it was a good learning experience and I found out that I should be able to shoot for about 8 hrs using my EeePC as a intervalometer. So here it is for your viewing “pleasure”
