Vacation Day 1
Today was the first day of our vacation, and since it was a beautiful 56 degrees outside we decided to play with our R/C toys and our Canon T1i. We drove my Tamiya 1/10th scale Ford F-150 and flew my E-Flite Blade MSR.
My brother got the MSR for me for my birthday this month and, up until today, I have only flown the Blade MCX. The MCX is not flyable outside since a slight breathe will push it off course. The MSR, however, is able to fly outside, assuming you can fly R/C choppers… Lets just say l need to practice more on my R/C sim, before I get comfortable flying the MSR for real. I attempted to fly the chopper while Kristi took the pictures, she did a VERY good job, it was the first time she had used the T1!
We finished the day with a simple grilled dinner of hot dogs and baked beans, YUM!
It is supposed to get progressively colder for the rest of our vacation, but we hope to at least make to Dillon Nature Center to get some nature photos, fingers crossed.
Here are a few of the pictures from day one of our vacation.
